Subject: RE: Changing coolant in a engine question

When I flush an engine, gas or diesel, I pull off a heater hose and let it run with the water hose in the radiator until the heater hose runs clean. Also leave the radiator drain open. When it is clean, shut off and let everything drain out. Close petcock and start it back up while dumping in straight anti-freeze until good colored fluid comes out heater hose. Reinstall hose and top off with straight anti-freeze.
Always comes out about -20.
