The corn was doing really well. It was a little over 6 feet tall and just finished yesterday with dribbling a little more N on before it tassels. We do have green snap and hail insurance. Along with crop insurance. But my past experience with crop insurance not real good. I would like to salvage any I can but hate to throw more money at it for no reason. Maybe the crop adjuster will have some advice. I am just about sick of this weather. I keep telling myself it will be better next year but it is really getting to me.


Be sure to post back what the adjuster says the percent of damage is. If you have multi peril with pretty high coverage and the damage is pretty bad I don't think I would spend the money on it.

Edit-Also I wouldn't spray fungicide until it is fully tasseled if you do decide to spray it.
