The tractor has IF800/70R38 single tires on the back @ 12 PSI set at 82" the planter never had more than 60 units of seed in it and the 270 bu aircart puts no weight on the planter and can hold 7 MT of fertilizer. The cart has duals up front and 710/70R38 on 120". This spring, when the soil dried after a rain, the tire tracks that took the longest to dry were by far the ones from planter. Adding 1000 Gal @ 11 pounds per gal means an aditional 11,000 lbs of weight on an already heavy planter on undersized tires. | |
