Micheal Vick took his pit-bulls from their small, safe, confined area and put them in a ring to fight with another. People wanted him jailed for a long time, and it ruined his reputation.
Cock fights are illegal.
Sows fight to injure/kill too, but that may be mandated.
Gestation crates seem more humane than the injuries that may occur from fighting. Fighting in today's 90F+ heat could easily cause death.
Anybody get between a fit of jealousy between 2 herdboars? I'll show you some nasty leg scars on myself and my daughter. Both of us were stiched up in the emergency room.
