Missouri
You will be fine and all will work out. Outside temps will affect sickness, as things happen faster and narrows the window for treatment. Animal temps get higher faster. Banamine is your friend. It buy's time and lowers the temperature's fast. It is in Resflor Gold, that is the difference between it and Nuflor. I really don't have an opinion on mass treatment. Sorta seems like a waste. Have seen fresh weaned calves and high temps stay in shade and not go to water. One year we ended up moving tanks to the shade. Dummies would not go drink during the day and made conditions worse. I would look at dust. It can be a real problem in weaning and add to problems. Might unroll some hay type bedding stuff to cover dusty area. Good Luck, Extra Prayer will be offered. God Bless.
