Columbia co. Wi | .1 in rain since May6. Corn is 4-5 ft tall and getting real uneven now as it struggles to grow. Some planted late April rest May 8-12. So I'm wondering when iit will shoot a tassel. Normal would be July 20-25, but nthing is normal anymore. About 1-3% of my corn is toast, gravel knobs and outside rows etc. Forcast is 92-97 for this week. Been farming 40 yrs and never seen it this dry this long, but I am impressed with how the corn is hanging in there. Columbia Co. Wi. | |
