Subject: RE: VIOLENT storms in central Ohio

SWOH
I don't know whether to clean the limbs up today or wait till tomorrow or Monday....sounds like we might get the wind again this afternoon if it builds up like it did yesterday. I'm hoping some of the northern Indiana and Ohio counties that didn't get much rain last evening got some rain out of the one that went through overnight and early this morning. It went just north of us, and then a little south too. Did the classic I-70 split when it got to us again. Storm damage from yesterday varies, some big trees down and some power poles, a few roofless barns in surrounding counties, spotty power outages. We never lost power but several areas did.

This was very similar to the storm that came through when the stage went down at the Indiana State Fair, it went from 0 to 70 mph within seconds. Anybody know why this seems to be happening more frequently? Or is it not really happening more frequently.....
