We got a lot of trees & branches down and many power outages in this area from the storm this afternoon.

And if I leaned real close to the rain guage & squinted I could get almost 33 hundreths ( 0.33"). At least it cooled things off for a bit. It is in the 70's now, down from the high 90's.

What I wish I could show you...but did not have my camera with me.......some of the worst corn did not even unroll from the shot of rain.

Will walk some fields tomorrow to assess any green snap. Icing on the cake .
