Subject: silage tons


South Central Illinois		How many tons of silage does good corn make?
We have some corn on light soil that will probably make maybe 20-30 bu per acre max.
I am thinking maybe 35% of a really good silage crop.
I am wondering how many 1000 lb round bales are in the field.
