WCIN | Afriend and I went a few years ago and had a blast. Asked my brother who is a corporate jet captain to go along. He declined because we were going to fly a rented 172. Said we were nuts. When we got there I understood why he advised us not to fly. There were so many planes in the landing pattern that it was hard to keep track of where they were. Planes were flying in circles at all altitudes and landing in and X runway. As soon as you hit the ground another plane was landing behind you. Reminded me of a bee hive. That was a little nerve wracking for inexperienced flyers but we had a great time and would like to do it again. | |
