The fire map is one that my mother in law is following on Facebook. This is the latest map on the fires that threaten Colorado Springs. My wife spent many of here teenage summers at Eagle Lake (it's a Christian Camp). Both of my in-laws work at Glen Eyrie Castle (part of the Navigators and the original home of Gen. Palmer who founded Colorado Springs. Having spent collectively 6 or 7 weeks in the area over the last 6 years, I fell like I'm watching my second home burn. If I wouldn't get in the way, I'd be there tomorrow morning with a shovel, but all I can do is pray for all involved and ask that everyone else does the same.
