Subject: Re: Thanks, Sam

Marengo, Iowa
We had a fantastic day! Thanks for your suggestions. We first headed down to the Warther Carvings Museum at Dover and we are in awe of his talents and the beautiful collection of steam engines. We left with several kitchen knives for Christmas presents and 6 pairs of pliers for gifts. From there, we headed west on 39 -- ate way more than I needed at Dutch Valley Restaurant, had the buffet, good home cooking, best meal since we left home. From there, we entered into the Garmin the address of Lehman's Hardware, and went thru Amish country on some pretty narrow and sharp hills, watching out for buggys and horses. We saw some beautiful fields of shocked oats. By the time we got done browsing at Lehmans, it was 4:30 and too late to stop at the Pro Football Hall of Fame -- we drove by it on the way back to our Corps of Engineers Mill Creek campground at Berlin Lake. Thanks again, Sam. Larry & Nancy
