Ed, tried that here many years ago. Head scab was devastating, as high as 80% loss in one field, 50% in a couple others, and not noticeable in others. This was Pioneer seed wheat. The crop looked pretty good until ripe, then many many shriveled and empty heads. But that was "here" many years ago..........I'm sure you planted a good variety with excellent disease protection ratings, I don't know if fungicide helps with scab, or not.
