Subject: RE: buying sprayer

East central Iowa
We have used a Hardi Navigator 1000 with a 60' hydraulic boom for the past few years. We bought it used and did a little refurbishing on it but it has been a great sprayer. It's a '99 and has NO welds on the boom. I am very satisfied with it but it is being replaced with a high clearance sprayer.

The nozzle bodies are quite pricey but Tee Jet has a model that is a direct fit to the metric boom including the holes in the boom. I was going to change the bodies but didn't have any trouble with the Hardis so just left them on. I did replace the nozzle caps with the Tee Jet ones that adapt the Tee Jet nozzles to the Hardi body. Worked well.

Hardi is a good sprayer as long as you don't have to replace many parts too often...... but probably worth it.
