| Mike, I tried this one time. We had a house that we didn't need for employees at the time and we were renting it for I think $350 or so a month (many years ago). After awhile we realized we could be getting more for the place and gave the renters notice and they decided to move, we cleaned the place up and I put in a real flowery type add, that it had a babbling brook, and quiet country setting etc. We had 70 phone calls. One guy even wanted it for his mom and himself willing to pay cash up front for a year. I teased him, what, did you just rob a bank. he didn't like that. Ended up renting to a local veterinarian that just moved to the area. Worked out well, now our son lives in there. | |
