Southwest Iowa | I was there tonight and watched South Carolina stay alive by beating Arkansas 2-0. Both teams play each tomorrow with the winner advancing to the championship series against Arizona. Wasn't alot of offense in tonight's game, but saw quite a few great defensive plays. I'm not sure if I'm a big fan on the "new" bats yet. Has there even been a HR in the series? I don't wanna see one every other inning or scores that resemble a football scoreboard. But I think they took too much offense outta the game. Just my personal opinion so take it for what its worth.
If the CWS is something you'd really like to see, make sure you get there before time passes you by. It's a tremendous tournament, excellent baseball and an awesome fan experience. Omaha really knows how to do this thing right and the ballpark is quite a sight. They have really improved the downtown area where all the action is and you can feel the excitement and energy in the air even if your favorite team isn't playing.
