You could use a scraper, excavator, or rotary ditcher. I know they like them flat bottumed about 12 feet wide. Much less likely to wash out that way. You could dig down down until you hit clay and you are probably at original ditch bottum.


Suppose an 8640 with a blade on the front would do the trick or does a guy need something to drag behind the tractor for leverage? Methinks that one of those pull-type or three point rigs would be better but I already have access to the 8640.
