Subject: Re: shotgun question,

Buckeye Lake, OH
I bought a Mossberg 835 at a pawn shop for $160. It is one of the thickest barrels of any shotgun you can get and it can take 3 1/2in shells. This is a great bird hunting shotgun, and I have also used it for trap shooting along with hunting. As for the choke on a shotgun you can change it. Mine came with an extra full, (really tight) and I got a modified choke for a wider pattern on it. The one bad thing about the 835 is that you cannot fire slugs through it, but for what you have you will never want a slug. If you want a cheap shotgun, go to a pawn shop and find one.
