northeastern Ohio | The closed loop will deliver more voltage (shock) than a one-way. Electricity always takes the path of least resistance. If you go to the farthest point from the energizer, a one-way will only have one pathway to get there while a closed loop will have two pathways to get there. With two paths, you have increased the size of the "pipe" and therefore can deliver more "juice" to that spot.
The other benefit to a closed loop: If the fence breaks somewhere along the line, you still have juice on all wires. | |
