The Far East...of Nebraska. | If you want to avoid ag industries, go online. Originate loans for an online bank from home. Sell pharmaceuticals. Do something in the city, maybe from home? It's a different world. You can live in Kansas and work for a company in California. If you can sell you can do about anything. If you don't want to leave ag, just leave your niche. If you're a grain guy, sell animal pharmaceuticals, or hydraulic hoses to dealerships, or sell livestock feed to big feeding operations. I doubt you would be too frowned upon, especially if you didn't brag about your high Paying side job and used it to pay down debt. A knew a great farmer who was a lawyer. It takes all kinds! |
