Just outside downtown Prairie Hill | I don't have any experience with the fiberglass sucker rods. We have used fiberglass scrap from a plant near us which makes tools used on high lines, ect. Some of this scrap had to be sanded and painted as well as drilled and cut...quite a bit of trouble, but good posts. I would suggest you consider cutting them 4' instead of 6' for a single wire fence. At least experiment before cutting lots. I would not use any steel T posts. Any thing steel is a possible ground. We have a couple of fences we intend to replace just because early on we used steel posts. Key to electric fence is to use only high quality components, big chargers with plenty of ground for the charger. Remember, you are wanting to create a memory with each animal. |
