1. if it was a neighbor you did favors for each other and you knew you would be repaid some time soon in another favor or something like that i wouldn't charge them.....
2. if it is an older farmer whom you might get to rent his farm in the next 10 years or less then i'd just tell them that you don't need anything for the work, just to keep you in mind if he ever retires......
3. anyone else i'd charge anywhere from the standard $15 an acre or so to plant all the way up to double the standard custom rate in your area since its drounded out patches.... they have to realize that you're spending a lot of time in trying to be carefull not to knock down any more of there good crop then necissary and its worse the just planting small fields.....
4. for the cultivator i'd just let it slide for this year.... never know when you may be in a pinch and need to borrow something.....
