The part with the drive tang that drives the hyd pump is threaded into the countershaft. No need to remove the countershaft, just unscrew it and unbolt the seal retainer plate. It can be difficult to get loose and I THINK it is LH threads. I have removed them using a hammer and a shaft and driving on the tang.
IHC H need to get shaft out
