SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ | Things look better than last week, the corn from fairmont to rochester looks way better than last year. Most fields knee high or better, nice green color. Very few drown outs or bad areas in any fields. I would say they are on there way to a record crop given a few more timely rains. Beans look pretty good at the first trifoliate stage, only thing I saw hurting yields was some tall lambsquarter and volunteer corn. Again this was a drive thru didn't stop in any fields.
Fields from fairmont west have more trouble spots but shaping up compared to last week. | |
