Arva, Ontario

Classic will do a very good job on the D-lions, but the rate will depend on what is already down.
Years ago, in my part of the pH approaching 8.0 part of the world, we weren't encouraged to use Classic if we already had another group 2 in the tank or soil. For the most part that was Pursuit. If were running a Pursuit/Basagran Forte tank mix, Classic often got added at a half rate for extra bang on the D-lion and Perennial sow-thistle. It was plenty hot, but did the job.

Since RR beans, we will confidently tank mix Classic at the full rate (14grams/ac - 1/2 oz.?) with a quart of R-up. The two put together are devestating on emerged D-lion, and in our soil will provide enough residual to hold seedlings from germinating for the balance of the season.

I realize you are in a non-GMO situation, but if you don't have much of a Group 2 already applied, I'd pull out the Classic at full rate. Read label to see if it needs surfactant added and water volumes preferred.
