West Central Minnesota | Traffic enforcement is part of their job, whether you like it or not. Having worked in law enforcement, I will say routine traffic stops (I.e. speeding, running stop sign, etc) oftentimes will turn into a DUI. Impaired judgement, such as breaking traffic laws, area good indicator there may be other issues with the driver. I agree common sense should prevail, and I'm all for using officer discretion when it comes to tickets. Give these guys a break! | |
