Pennsylvania | Yeah I would agree that many top lids leak air. Tighten the latches you should not feel air around the seal when running. I have also seen water get in the bulk fill hoppers causing a mess in the manifold. Check the manifold and clean. The 1200 is a good planter but the electronics and bulk fill have changed for the good on the 1240. We have been changing all of our disks to 100 cell and that fixed all the low vacumm problems. 80's would work fine as well just check op manual for rates and rpms. I think that a rpm of 20-30 is perfect. | |
