After the machine gets a couple years on it you will hate them. We fought with the single disks here for a long time before finally getting rid of the tool. The hubs on the single disks take nothing to brake with out rocks and they were always loosening up. It was like having 50 some wagon wheels all in the same spot. Plus in mud they would just get built up and then float on top of the ground and do nothing.

Are you talking about an 870 or some other kind of tillage tool with single blade design?? You now have me worried but have talked to lots of guys with this setup and also owners of the older models of DMI/CaseIH Ripper that have had no trouble at all!!
