Frytown, Iowa | How many bu. are these "foliar fed" rains adding??? I say foliar fed because the rain sure ain't getting to the roots...
Did a few loads of post corn w/ insecticide today... Saw more thin replant areas... Don't know if I can remember where they all are... Or if they are worth driving all around again to plant...
Of course I got "rained out"... Just enough to wash off the product probably... You would think Ill never be happy... Sometimes a little rain is worse than no rain... Especially with the beans sitting in dust... We need a good inch every other day for the next 6 days...
After what I seen today in the sprayer (my fields and neighbors fields) if your selling corn right now with a 4 in front... You like to sell yourself short... Talked to a good friend today who also is on agtalk.. and sprays... Echoed my thoughts exactly today... He's seeing the same thing...
The new crop corn (especially the April planted) is hurting... | |
