German Valley, IL | I guess I misunderstood his question we are not trying to add enough water to raise the moisture of the hay we just use it to keep spout from gumming up ... we use acid on the chopper ... we have put up dry hay like this before both in bags and on the pit and have had no issues with good quality feed in the end ... this was the driest hay we chopped and was only 80 acres out of close to 400 | |
