I agree with you all. I and I assume many others watch the shows to see them catch bad guys. So often the shows that are successful seem to devolve into soap operas. I don't care about their love life or lack of it. I'm also tired of the hackneyed storyline that the guys wife and child were killed or in the case of some newer shows that the "hero" has a schizophrenic parent. The last show killer seems to be a hard left turn, it happened to Quincy years ago and it continues on some other shows. It seems that Hollywood just can't be happy with success or without pushing their agenda. Lastly, I saw that CSI Miami has been canceled. I guess the red haired geek standing around and muttering just wasn't enough to carry the show. |
