Your mention of low fat ice cream, baked chips etc are fine as far as it goes, but he answer is to not sit down and have an ice cream or lie on the sofa and have a bag of chips.
Sloppy eating habits make for a sloppy body.Ggood eating habits with real food and exercise rather than big macs and a tv make for a healthy body.
