Subject: Every wish you could copy some text from a page?

East central Iowa

There have been times when I find a page of information that is interesting and I'd like to print it or copy it and forward it.  However the page is filled with ad's and miscellaneous junk.

Well, enter a website called print friendly.  http://www.printfriendly.com/\

If you find a page of recipies that you'd like but don't want all the other junk click on the address or double click which ever turns it all blue or what I call highlighted.  Next press Ctrl and while holding it down press the letter C on your keyboard.  That will copy the address.

Now go to the print friendly page and where it says "enter a url" click in the box and press Ctrl and while holding it down press the letter V.  That will paste the address in the box.  Then click on black box that says print preview.

That should give you a page you can print without all the junk.  And if you want to copy some of the text it can be highlighted and copied, then dropped into an email or letter.

For example, I went to this site http://allrecipes.com/recipe/sirloin-steak-with-garlic-butter/  then went to print friendly and it turned it into the view below.  I think you can see the print friendly result at http://www.printfriendly.com/print/v2?url=http%3A%2F%2Fallrecipes.com%2Frecipe%2Fsirloin-steak-with-garlic-butter%2F
