Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | I read somewhere that an episode called "Man in a Hurry" was voted best by a group of critics years ago.
On his way to a meeting, some big shots car brakes down passing through Mayberry. Gommer can't get the part for a couple days and the fellow starts out throwing a fit. By the end of the show he has learned to enjoy the slow pace of the town and tells Gommer he's in no hurry to leave.
The show was defiantly a classic. |
