Subject: Bypass Surgery

Winfield, KS
My dad had a heart cath done today and the decision was made to do triple bypass surgery on Friday. I know there is some great info out on the net and info that we will get from the docs. I am looking for farmer perspectives as I know that the balacing act will come on the recovery end when he is wanting to resume activity. The timing of this is going to be stressful on all and I will be doing my best to make sure that both all of our bean planting and wheat harvest goes smoothly without creating too much worry for him.

For those of you who have had a family member go through this surgery can you give me some insights on what to expect as he is recovering and tips for helping him deal with not being there for all the farm activities as he would normally be.

Thanks for your insights in advace and keep our family in your prayers.
