We kept a couple of those brass hand-pump fire extinguishers filled w/carbon tet when I was shelling. That would take them down immediately. You had to be careful of standers-by however. But, that was the way it was. The brass fire extinguishers also served on the mounted pickers. Same product. It was also good for drying out drowned out distributors when the water on the road was too deep & flooded the distributor. Lots of uses for it...now you can't buy it, I don't think. It was also excellent parts cleaner/degreaser.
