A dude not too far from me planted a boat load of corn on one of the last days of March. This is in SD, and the insurance start date is April 10th. It's been a month and no movement. My friend who is a seed DSM said it's done for.
He was planting an expensive brand of corn so I'm thinking he's lost $100 an acre already.
Is there gonna be any recovery of this money either from insurance or otherwise? Or is this guy screwed totally? | |
