Just out of curiosity - how did you used to have a say in Presidential appointments? I've always assumed they were just that - appointments by the President. I believe what we have up here is comparable and avg. Cdns have no say in the matter.
probably refering to the recent recess appointment made when the congress was NOT in recess. nornally appointments need approval of elected representitivies, unless your the o. the extensive use of unaccountable 'czars' are also questionable. |
