Danvers mn | Monsanto does not sell AMS that I know of but there company reps this winter season were pushing AMS specificately. No other product. They were very adament to use with glyphosate all the time. If using an AMS substitute then make sure to use equivalent amounts. This advice comes from the company that developed the original recommendations,. If 28% or 32% were adequate by themselves then it would make sense after the last 30 years that they would be on some companie's glyphosate label. It is the nitogen and sulfur together that have the greatest impact on water. AMS is very simple to convert to a liquid even ahead of use if desired and should still be the least cost addition to a spray mixture if you do your shopping. If you take someone else advice to use a different product you better do your homework and find out what is in the product. I know of some that are nothing more than liquid AMS . Sometimes a little surfactant. Sometimes a little soy oil for supposed drift retardant and defoamer-mostly ineffective. bill | |
