west central illinois | I have noticed in our small county fair it isn't about who can raise the best animal anymore! Its who can buy the best! I have made up my mind when my daughters get old enough to show I'm not going to allow it! 4H was fun when I was in {90's} now it is a joke. It has turned into a bunch of guys who have 3 cows and will spend thousands and thousands of dollars to win a $10 trophy. nothanks I don't need that drama in my kids life. | |
