yes, it can be the truth for those who only practice "the religion" but everyone i know who actually has a personal relationship with Christ and is allowing him to work in their lives... living examples,.... practice self-control...

there are many "surface" christians in the world...

when i was younger a few of my old friends who were brought up in the church stopped going... their reason? too many hypocrites in the church... ill tell you that when i go to Hawkeye football games there are many, many die hard fans... but sometimes you see the die hard husband dragging the wife who really dont care at all if she is there or not...

i dont stop going to hawkeye games because there is someone there who is only a "surface" hawkeye fan... heck i dont go for the fans at all...
