We use our Outback some when cutting beans.  I like it and my brother thinks it makes things worse but he doesn't have very much experience using the Outback and I've probably covered 25,000 acres with it so it's second nature for me to follow it.  Where I find it works best is after dark in dusty conditions.  I'd set your EZ Guide to 24' and see how you get along with it set there.  If your head width is set to the same size in the yield monitor your acres should come out right or at least as good as could be expected.
