the issue with SRW growing areas is that it is also corn and soy growing area. Currently land/input costs are tracking corn/soy margins (mostly corn), so wheat isn't too profitable. For us up here in the northern growing area, high value soys are good for wheat as it gives us the opportunity to plant wheat as wheat can't follow corn up here (too late). So lots of soy acres at least allow for wheat acres to be planted.
