In minnesota, if you sell a house, the septic has so many days to pass inspection.   If it fails inspection, you are responsible for bringing it up to code, they will finance it in addition to your taxes over a certain amount of years if you wish.


Im on the fence with your 401K......    Ive never had one, never will.....    If your personality is like mine (somewhat controlling)  dump the 401k and never look back.    No one here can tell you the right thing to do.. (including me).      

A paid for (insert asset here) is better than money in the bank.
