sw minnesota | we are the same, did two loads this morning started at 530 second truck left at 7 and the second load did not go good. when those gates swing to the wall there is a little hook for them to latch to and a post in the center of what was the divide fence when it is closed. its actually pretty simple, I'd try puttin both sides of the feeder together and I will guess u will switch to 4 pens later on. Not sure if it saves anytime because u sitill have to sort the night before but is nicer in the morning and pigs are not as worked up being they were able to settle down. Another thing that really helps is dad lets two pens run the alleys all the time, different ones every day. This helps when you go to get them out of the pen because they are used to it and no fighting them there anymore either, you might already do this. | |
