N/C Montana | We've had a pair of Great Horned Owls living in our shelter belt for a long time. They were great fun to watch and listen to. Never bothered cat or song birds. Found one at the bottom of the transformer power the other morning. It had a half eaten pheasant carcass in its claws which evidently dropped low enough to complete the circuit. Linesman later said they could have installed a guard on the top of the pole to prevent such an occurrence. | |
