Subject: Re: ez-steer not so ez

North west MN
I found when harvesting I set the swath width to a foot even with a 30 foot header. That way I can just turn the combine around take a full cut and hit the ez-steer button. Offset is not a problem If running more than one combine with different headers it is really nice just set all the combines at the same heading degrees by doing an a+. The only drawback I see with this is on a large field you might have to do another a+ part way across the field as the Ez-Guide gives you 2056 guidance lines. As far as the EZ-Steer not handling the combine very good check all the settings like in the previous post the one that will really mess things up is the antenna to axle offset and make sure that it is set up as a combine. I have some Ez-Steers running in very old combines and they work great.
