all depends.  If ordered up and partner leads and ace will sometimes play a bare left. Reasoning is if opponent has suite, we get trick if not has to trump anyway and makes them use right to do it. Possible partner will end up with high trump trick. Since it was ordered and figure opponent has right if they trump the ace and lead the right I will lose the left anyway. Might as well make them pay.  Course wouldn't trump it if any chance of setting them.. Main thing is to hold them to one point.
