Oh I feel for you. the other day my husband called me at work and said we had a cow that did the splits on concrete. He said he got her up, she walked a few feet and then fell again. Then she couldn't get up, kept sliding around. It is so depressing. We have our concrete 98% grooved, but she slipped on the 2% that isn't. He dragged her to the dirt and by golly she got up and starting running around. I have to tell you, there is about a 1% chance of that happening on our farm. Do not drag her by the feet.

I know what you mean when they lay flat. And you have to keep "righting" them. IMO, when you have to keep doing that, they are defeated. But you said she stopped doing that.
