I can't tell you specifically about the 280, but we have put about 5000 hours on our MTX and haven't had any problems whatsoever. You might check the hydraulic specs depending upon what you are planning to use it for; we have had no problems the our MTX135, but I am not sure what the specs are moving that far up in size and power. I would encourage you to consider it.
